following are our fundraisers designed for educational purposes

[Dred] Locks ~ Another Perspective is an empowerment
symposium encompassing various forms of nourishing knowledge through
art, a gourmet vegetarian cuisine, musical entertainment and Goddess
Locticions. Acceptance of self includes knowing your beauty before
enhancements. [Dred}Locks are natural beauty. The main theme of event
[Dred] Locks~Another Perspective is to provide education via a forum on the
rich history of [Dred] Locks expressing; the benefits of locking hair; the
empowerment from wearing them and the peace of mind which comes along
with belief in self.

Poetry Play! This is a creative opportunity to provide a platform of unity,
healing and free speech. Utilizing an existing template, participants work
together imputing their original poetry, incorporating dance, other writings,
and or visuals. A concept is developed and performed. The process requires
group brainstorming and merging of differences. It is ideal for schools
(contests, after school programs, etc), youth or adult workshops, and other
venues

Youth to Wisdom; It is said, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” On
that note we offer “Youth to Wisdom” an enriching option available to provide
young people the opportunity to gather pearls of wisdom from the minds of
elders. Predetermined groups of youth visit nursing homes, assisted living
community centers and attend other senior events initiating supervised
dialog in a group setting with those who “have lived a while and have much
to share‘. Discussions vary from and are not limited to life, differences and
similarities. The intent is to bring new understandings, acceptance, growth
and appreciation of cultures. Elders receive a spark of life and attention.
Youth learn of age, its beauty and love.

 

We are a life studies series based on the understanding that everyone is
here for a reason, a purpose. Our workshops are geared to assist in
uncovering that reason. Purpose discovery guides one to consciously live in
alignment with the collective cooperation of raising the consciousness of
humanity as a whole. Notwithstanding, our description similarities are the
same as the variations; body makeup, preference and mentality dictate the
resulting effect. Our intent is broadening awareness.
